profound change. Department of Posts has been taking
initiatives , the most recent being the Speed Post
Passport Service - a unique partnership between the
Department of Posts and the Ministry of External
Affairs for the convenience of passport applicants.
Now the passport applicants have just to follow
five simple steps. There is no need to go to the
Passport Office all the way, instead they can walk
to the nearest Speed Post and experience the ease of
getting a passport.

Application Form from the Speed Post Office.

Get Demand Draft for the
amount payable to Regional Passport Officer
towards the Passport Fee |

Submit the Passport

Documents to be attached
Along with the application, please attach
attested or self-attested copies of documents
mentioned in the Information Booklet. Originals of
the documents should be produced at the Speed Post
Offices.
Customer Service
The applicants can know the status
of their passport by calling the Tele-enquiry
number. The applicants need to quote the key number
(allotted to them) while making the inquiries.
