Devusinh Jesingbhai Chauhan was born on 29th Oct 1964 in Navagam, Kheda, Gujarat. He did his Diploma Course in Electrical Engineering from the Government Polytechnic College in Porbandar (Gujarat). From 1989 to 2002, he worked as an engineer with All India Radio (AIR)

Devusinh Jesingbhai Chauhan is an Indian politician and serving as Union Minister of State for Communications, Government of India . He was member of parliament to the 16th Lok Sabha (2014-2019) and re-elected to the 17th Lok Sabha (2019 onwards ) from Kheda (Lok Sabha constituency), Gujarat. He had held the positions Member, Gujarat Legislative Assembly (two terms) (2007-2014) and Member, Standing Committee on Water Resources; Member, Consultative Committee, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, (1 Sept. 2014 – 25 May 2019) and Member, Standing Committee on Defence; Member, Consultative Committee Ministry of Food Processing.
